Getting the Most from Your Loft Space
Natural Light
South-facing rear dormers receive maximum natural light. Velux skylights add light even on north-facing roofs. A well-lit loft feels significantly larger than its footprint.
Stair Position
The staircase takes 4–6m² on the floor below. Our architects plan the stair route to minimise impact — often through a landing cupboard or redundant corridor space.
En-Suite Position
Positioning the bathroom directly above an existing bathroom reduces plumbing costs. We factor this into the design from the outset.
